Next, there are cards with predicates on them. These are facts about each of the presidents. Cut and laminate these as well. Make sure you shuffle them well. Then students will select a card and read the predicate to decide which president is the subject. This is a great time to review verbs of being as well. I plan on using this as a closure after our read alouds about the presidents and other activities.
